By now, you may have heard that Mulligan’s in Jensen Beach is closing after 23 years in business.  We made this decision not for business reasons but for cost reasons and it is time to move on. I may find another location in Martin County, or I may drive into  the sunset and enjoy the rest of my life.

Unfortunately, for the past couple of years, we worked only to pay the exorbitant rent to the landlord.

We absolutely cannot afford to pay the rent any longer. We tried to find a buyer for 6 months, but everyone felt the same way about the enormous rent. The building is already becoming 1/2 empty, it’s obvious other businesses are having the same problem paying West Palm Beach rent prices in Jensen Beach. No one wants to work hard for the landlord. Our business is strong—it has been for 23 years—but not strong enough to cover these expenses.

We love Jensen Beach, we will always be grateful for our time here and the support we have received. We would like to personally thank Ron Rose from the Chamber of Commerce, all of our business neighbors and my entire staff for our success. We wish you all nothing but the best in the future.

We offered our staff in Jensen Beach the option to work at our Vero or Sebastian locations, most of them accepted this offer. We wish the best of luck in their job searches to those unable to travel to the other locations.
